PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE

Job description

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Operations
• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
• Monitor production processes (pressing, glazing, firing, polishing, packing, etc.)
• Ensure optimal utilization of machines, materials, and manpower
• Achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards

Quality Control
• Ensure compliance with product quality specifications and standards
• Coordinate with the Quality team to reduce defects, wastage, and rejections
• Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues

Process & Efficiency Improvement
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements
• Reduce downtime, material wastage, and energy consumption
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, TPM, etc.)

Manpower Management
• Allocate work to operators and supervisors
• Monitor attendance, shift planning, and productivity
• Train workers on SOPs, safety, and best practices

Maintenance Coordination
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Ensure machines are running efficiently with minimal downtime

Safety & Compliance
• Enforce safety rules and factory compliance standards
• Ensure adherence to statutory and environmental regulations
• Promote a safe and disciplined working environment

Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare daily production reports, efficiency reports, and loss analysis
• Maintain production records, SOPs, and shift logs
• Communicate production status to management

Required Qualifications
• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Ceramic, B.Sc ,B.com, or Production Engineering with Computer Knowledge
• Specialized knowledge in ceramic or tiles manufacturing preferred

Experience
• 1-4 years of experience in tiles manufacturing or ceramic industry
• Hands-on experience with tile production processes and machinery

Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of tiles manufacturing processes
• Production planning and execution skills
• Problem-solving and analytical ability
• Leadership and team coordination
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP/MIS systems)
• Good communication skills

• Production target achievement
• Quality rejection percentage
• Machine downtime
• Cost and wastage control
• Safety compliance

Preferred :

Must be experience in only in ceramic industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 – ₹40,000.00 per month
